"The more that perform oral sex has been associated
with increased HPV infection," said Dr. Greg Hartig, head of ENT surgery
at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison,
as quoted by FoxNews, Thursday (27/01/2011).
Research conducted by Dr. William Lydiatt, professor and
chief of surgical oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha
found about 60-70 percent of cancer cases are related to HPV-positive tonsil.

Medicine in 2007 found that young people are affected by tonsil and base of
tongue cancer with positive test results for HPV mostly perform oral sex on her
partner.
People doing 6 times or more oral sex with her partner had
3.4 times higher risk of developing oropharyngeal cancer (cancer of the tongue,
back of the throat or tonsils). This risk will increase if he often promiscuous
partners.
Researchers also reported since 1973, people with tonsil and
base of tongue cancer are increasing every year. The widespread practice of
oral sex among adolescents a factor which contributed to the increase in the
number of cancer patients.
People who are exposed to HPV virus has a specific location
depends on which body part first enters the body. If entering through the
vagina commonly cause cervical cancer in the mouth but if it will cause cancer
in the mouth and throat.
"Sexual Practices people have changed from time to
time. I do not know why they prefer to perform oral sex compared with other
sexual activity," said Hartig.
Indeed favors experimenting with sexual
activity, but it needs to be seen the impact and risks of these behaviors on health.
